RSA Roadshow

The Road Safety Authority brought their mobile unit to the college today. Our TY students got an opportunity to meet with the RSA staff and to investigate a number of aspects of road safety through the use of the onboard simulators. Thanks to Mr M Gavigan who organised the event for the TY students.

St Columba's Golf Classic

The college held its 15th annual Golf Classic in Ballybofey & Stranorlar Golf Club on Monday 4th May in aid of the sports development fund. Thanks to the golf club for the use of their excellent facilities and to Lafferty Transport/Navenny Grill Ltd who were the main sponsors for our classic again this year. Many thanks to the parents, past pupils, staff, local businesses and member of the golf club who supported our venture in various ways. 30 teams took part in the competition on the day. Congratulations to the prize winning teams.

Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards

Congratulations to Tamara Bradley who has been selected as one of Ireland’s top 20 youth volunteers in the Pramerica Spirit of Community Awards, the only all-Ireland youth initiative of its kind, recognises young people for their motivation, service and impact on their local community across the Island of Ireland.

"Making Waves" Science Week Show

As part of the recent activities for National Science Week, Mr O'Donoghue, assisted by fifteen transition year students, gave a lecture to nearly 200 fifth and sixth class pupils from St Mary's NS, the Robertson NS, and Sessiaghoneill NS in the Balor Theatre.
