Parental Access to VSware.

St. Columba’s College will now be using a platform called VSware as another method of communicating with parents. Instructions for setting up access
to VSware can be found here.

1916 Proclamation Ceremony

All students and staff of the school took part in a very moving and uplifting ceremony today in the School hall to commemorate the vision and spirit of the men and women If 1916.

1916-2016 National Flag Ceremony

The college was represented at the National Flag Post-Primary Commemoration Ceremony in Croke Park today by Sean Sweeney (Head Boy), Rachel Smeaton (Head Girl), Anna Carr (Student Council) and staff members Ms Orr and Mr Rowan. Ryan Tubridy was Master of Ceremonies with the keynote address given by President Michael D Higgins. Sean Sweeney accepted the flag on behalf of the college.

Green Flag Schools Initiatives

Many thanks to everyone who made the effort to walk to school on Friday Dec.4th. We had a 50% reduction in the number of cars on the avenue.We encourage everyone to join us in walking the avenue to school. We guarantee that you will feel more refreshed for the day ahead if you do! We wish Mr Gavigan and his Green Schools committee continued success with this project.

RSA Roadshow

The Road Safety Authority brought their mobile unit to the college today. Our TY students got an opportunity to meet with the RSA staff and to investigate a number of aspects of road safety through the use of the onboard simulators. Thanks to Mr M Gavigan who organised the event for the TY students.
