Maths Achievements.

Congratulations to Mark Bonner, Brían Foy, Michael

McMonagle and Hannah McMullin who have been identified

as high achievers in Mathematics in the 2013 Junior Certificate

Examination. They were invited to participate in the 2013 Irish

Beaver Computing Contest (IBCC). The IBCC is the Irish

branch of 'Bebras International', an online international

computational thinking challenge for students both at primary

and second level schools.In 2012,over 525,000 students from

21 countries were involved. Ireland will take part for the first

time this year, when over 750,000 students from 25 countries

are expected to participate. Best of luck to all!

Leaving Cert Provisional Results 2021

The provisional results of the 2021 Leaving Certificate are due for issue on Friday, 3rd September.  Please click here for details regarding the issuing of results and the Appeals process.

Support will be available to the LC Class of 2021 from 2pm on Friday afternoon.  Please email Ms Sproule or Ms Mc Nulty directly for any advice or support required.  

Maths Week

Maths week took place this year from 15th-19nd October. Its aim is to raise awareness, appreciation and understanding of mathematics. During maths week in St. Columba’s students participated in various activities.

Girls Active

Girls active provide an opportunity for girls who do not wish to play competitive sport to take part in activities that keep them fit and healthy. The girls get to choose the activities to ensure maximum enjoyment.
